A course titled “Humanitarian Story Production Using Mobile Phones” was held in Kuwait at the Sahara Hotel, in cooperation with the Tamkeen initiative to develop the performance of workers in the charitable field. The course was held between October 14 and 16, 2019 and was attended by eighteen trainees.
The course aimed at learning humanitarian storytelling techniques by shooting with a mobile phone, in addition to learning the structure of a humanitarian story including the idea, the scenario all the way to the production. The course also aimed at developing the attendees’ skills when it comes to transmitting the field reality in a credible and professional manner, and enriching the humanitarian visual content by using mobile phones to create a humanitarian story.
