This is the winner of the grand prize at the Al-Thani photography contest held at the State of Qatar on the subject of “wild life.” The photo was taken at the reserve of Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. It shows a reptile, the dabb-lizard, who was startled and moved away rapidly upon shooting this photo.
